The need to recycle EPS scrap has led NUOVA IDROPRESS S.p.A. to design and optimize a series of specific tools:
The Pre-grinder - Star dosing Valve - Grinder, able to grind scrap of even considerable size into small pieces thanks to the combined action of the Pre-grinder, equipped with large-sized knives, and the Grinder whose interchangeable screen gives the desired grade. Special features of these machines are their quiet operation and low dust production thanks to the low rotation speed of the two counter-rotating shafts.

The Dust Collection System that filters the finer particles of grinding to prevent clogging in the steaming chambers of the block-moulding machines.
The Mixing System formed by two stainless steel screws whose speed of rotation, electronically controlled by means of an inverter, allows mixing untreated and ground material in the desired % with absolute precision, ensuring an optimum mix.
