TONGUE-AND-GROVE JOINT CUTTING MACHINES

NUOVA IDROPRESS S.p.A. has perfected and patented an innovative system for jointing polystyrene sheets by means of hot wires. Simultaneous jointing on 4 sides without moving the sheets ensures absolute precision in perpendicularity. The advantages of the Tongue-and-Groove Joint Cutting Machines over conventional mill cutting systems are considerable:

Minimum overall plan dimensions.
Very low noise level.
Total absence of dust in the scrap that can therefore be recovered.
Lower energy consumption.
Less capital investment to enter the jointed sheet sector.
Considerable operative flexibility: the profile of the joint and the thickness of the sheets are programmed on a Computer without having to change any tools.

Both a semi-automatic model with manual loading and unloading and a completely automatic model are available. Both can therefore be equipped with a scrap collection belt and a pre-grinder.
